The Key Elements of Great Tips

Time as an Important Aspect of Life

The difference one makes in his life may depend partly on genes, partly on what is at his or her disposal and partly the time he or she dedicates to work or even study. According to Greg Lindberg, it is possible for one to turn things around. Assuming you opted to dedicate eight hours of work to a project per day, and you have minimal resources at your disposal, and another person dedicates only one hour to a similar project. Greg Lindberg will tell you that even when the person dedicating only one hour of his time to the project has a hundred times more resources initially, the person dedicating more time to his or her project will catch up with the person dedicating only one hour in the long run.

According to Greg Lindberg, a gifted student, may spend only five minutes to grasp a concept while another may take up to thirty minutes to grasp the same concept. A student who spends more time to grasp a concept would need to spend even more to be on par with a student who takes lesser time. That tells you that time is the only avenue you can utilize to catch up with those ahead of you, and pass them where you invest even more of it. You would need two-time intelligence curves where one studies more while the other is more intelligent. The gradient of the student with better genes would be higher when compared to the student with weaker genes. The more, the less intelligent student would take more time to study, the more he or she increases his or her chances of beating the sharper student. However, if only the student with better genes worked as hard, he or she would be far much better than his or her colleague.

Looking at the genes and resources factor, Greg Lindberg would take you to another new level of exploration. It is unfortunate that some of these people with more resources at the beginning only tend to compare themselves with people around them and hence do not achieve as much as they should if they spent more time working or reading. They want to compare themselves with those around them and the people they know in life. In a situation where one has resources and dedicates his or her time to them, he or she would stand an opportunity of creating a gap other people would have a hard time catching up. However, time may be the only thing you would need to utilize upwards. Greg Lindberg would make it sound even more dramatic by saying that time makes all the difference over time. One would be surprised how that extra work he or she do every day can make all the difference in the long run.
